In the award category (points), would it not be fair to have sliding scale say of 1st=15, 2nd=8 and 3rd=3 and 4th=minus 4. This would keep the animosity down that I have seen on some boards, be fair to account for sheer luck in hands and give those that continue to play frequently a reason to do so. I see a lot of high scores in people that haven't played but a few games.
I do like you idea of penalizing those that don't play at least a few games per week. King101

I so disagree with this. Penalising the last player destroys any incentive to get the lowest player. The awards are pointless as most of the good players very quickly get a row of golds and the 1 silver. Points should be awarded to the winner only. Iceman
