Increased latency experienced in communications.

Post by tmno2 »

Hi Aidan,
As from about last Friday, 6th June, 2025, I have experienced a severe increase in communicating with your Domain servers, apparently located in the south east of England.

This major problem maybe explained by either, a domain hosting relocation, or major damage to under seabed communications cabling, caused either intentionally or accidentally.
As this recent latency variation interferes greatly with playing experience and appreciation, I look forward to a reasonably prompt reply, also taking the latency variance into consideration.

I think its some config problem on the server. I've rebooted now so lets see if things are better. Let me know if delays start happening again and I'll look into things in more detail.

Hi Aidan,
Thanks for prompt reply.
Whatever you have done in reconfiguring the servers seems to have corrected the problem.
Round trip latency seems to have returned to acceptable normal experience.
Will advise further on any adverse experience.

Thanks
